One of my Friend Have Compaq Presario C500
But his cd rom doesnot work .
Currently He is using Vista And I tried to install xp from the my usb Stick I am unable to do this task.
I tried some way but error came at the way ?
Which method will be better please guys keep the links which worked 100 % .

make sure system can boot from USB. Make USB bootable with DOS. (Google). Copy the XP setup to USB.
Boot with the USB drive, [optional] enable smartdrive (command smartdrv, I guess), change dir to i386, run winnt..... setup should start..
haven't tried but should work. i have done Install from non-bootable XP CD using Win98 boot (DOS).

Yehi Try Gareko HO Step 9 samma bhayo But Hardisk nai detect garna Sakena Just Usb Drive matra dekhau cha . K garne hola ? I mean Txt mode ni run bhayo tara process gardai jada notebook ko hardisk nai detect garena so install nai garna milena ! |

This Procees has been tested File usb ma windows ko file transfer complete bhayo tara boot garda cannot copy winhall.dll ho ki testai k ho cannot found bhanera aayo ani exit huncha |

bios ma yeuta option huncha boot priority nira tyahayeuta khoi k enable huncha disable garnu parcha tyo garda thik huncha exactly chai taha vayena kun chai option ho chai

you should install xp from external cd rom usb drive ma rakhna milne CD ROM market ma mazzale paenchha Cd Rom bata install garne sodheko haina I installed it with my Usb.. |
