Try Kaspersky and you will know what a real antivirus is.
They give you 30 days trial which you can reset forever(every 30 days). or you can buy it for 1200 rs (three licences) for one year.
Avast is also good. Both are lightweight and don't stress your system.

e/body have self openion but i trust on symentec......... i don't trust kaspersky.....................coz 1 time it damage my sys.....and END TIME PROTECTION MEAN. thts one version name actually it;s symantec 11(end time protection)

i have never liked norton. takes up too much resources and as Captain said it is a huge pile of shit. i am using nod32 and very happy with it even though i don't really need but just wanted to be safe than "sorry". btw microsoft security essentials has some good reviews and it's free (if you have genuine windows).. i will be trying that after my license expires

ya buddy pretty much heard about opensourch as i know it's online scan rgt ?? if ! yes then let me tell u one thing ......... my system already get damage with online scan.......... if opensource  is not online plz make it clear for me .............now am using symentec so n/thing probelm in my system ........before i use avg ths' pretty much good but not give satisfy result ....... so turn to symentec............... now too good and too safe............
