I recommend. B.E (preferable IOE) if you wanna choose along with other similar courses. Engineering degree is something dude.

But whatever you choose. It totally depends on your potential. Academics itself only won't be of much to help you stand as a professional.

Agreed on a partial not a whole. What do i NOT assume is to have a potential yet no framework to stand from a scratch. Life isn't something like a read and fire so nomatter the amount of geniousdome we do posses, it doesn't hold true until we hold the mastery over something. BCA and other commercial BEs' are all the same. Ask a student about his learning through all his years, the most probable answer is "dude! i read all these years, they taught me code almost all the programs yet i do suffer nothing for i lost it admist all these years. First year basic intro, second intro to the high-level and third to the databases ..blah blah! " what on earth is that..? Want to learn solaris! forget it dude! we can't do it at home, of course need a mentor to stand from a scratch; go learn on field and then dispose to the higher foundation!". That's all we can do!

P.S. The last statement is all the commercial studies sucks until we hold good at first instance!
gracias!

Step aside.. lamer...

The words you stated weren't so touching..... A jerk like you speaking of such vast words... What an insults of words? And the jerk who taught you that we only learn Basic, Fundam.. blah.. blah... is one hell of frustrated gay with no learning from the curriculum. In B.E we are taught not to learn technologies but to built technologies. B.IT and other people learn how to use technologies. We engineers are the researchers of tomorrow and the electronic technologies you are using today, creating a fantasy into your world, is all our gift.

But now-a-days the main aspect of B.E is being suppressed and the engineerings are just use as a development toys. Its like a M.A.(Major English) working as a sweeper in U.K. or some European country due to lack of jobs.

Where exactly? Here in the US, you have two main programs:

1. Computer Science/ Computer Programming/ Software Engineering: These three are basically the same. Different universities have different names. (I am currently in first year of Computer Science)

2. Computer Engineering: More of hardware stuff. Related to Electrical Engineering.

{ BAsically is there any difference between Comp. Science & Soft. eng.}

^ In simple words, Computer Science is the  general field and Software Engineering is a concentration in Computer Science.

Well! let me remind you from scratch! when i find you writing these words that really amaze me to the possible level that makes me laugh the ass out of me. Secondly, who told you the teachers, whom you choose to mention the word "jerk"; are the one you stand for. Should i make you remember those days you used to stand alone the computer just looking the basic windows structure and ponder over the registry. That would be the time you were at 6, i suppose! Tongue
Now, when it comes you to cite the degree B.E that makes me laugh my stuff, i suppose what that stuff mean, unless you are one freaking big retard. See, i don't actually cite the word Retard when i see the people posting such thread that holds a zilch significance. Short words: You weren't born the way you chose to be! Cheesy

chill guyz.. k ho yesto.. k  k padhnu paryo...

@The Doll Master
BE is sort of basics of computing, which will help you life long if you want to do anything with computing (not only the PCs and servers you see around)... other bachelor courses related to computers and computing have different scopes and have different perspective, which is essential for running the computing world.... Have you heard of BSc IT with Law and BSc IT with Psychology? Those courses exist (not in nepal though)... They have their own scopes and applications.. My personal views. No offence.
